CKF“ELAD-serious liver disease saving”special fund raising appeal (draft)
      liver disease is a hard nut to crack in China. It is estimated that 12% of Chinese population, over 150000000, are suffered from liver disease B and C and over 400000 sufferers died from liver disease, which brings misfortune to thousands of families! Chinese population is up to 20% of world population while liver disease b and c sufferers in China are up to 34% and 24% respectively of world sufferers. What a terrible number and a terrible fact.     So many sufferers are longing for life, so many past happy families are expecting medical miracles and so many people are yearning for happiness in the world.CKF and VTI jointly initiate the plan of “ELAD love around and life saving” and the establishment of special fund “ELAD-serious liver disease saving”, which will bring hope to sufferers and families.The hope comes from ELAD, the first device for extrocorperal artificial liver ELAD with real liver cell as content developed by VTI. This product is the most advanced one over the world. In the early stage clinical test in England and the ongoing clinical test in China, 122 patients received the ELAD treatment which is proved to be safe and effective, able to provide transitive liver function support as metastasis to liver failure, save time for liver function recovery and rebirth and save time for liver transplantation.
